SUMMER CAMPS 2010
Mid August
At last the information you have been waiting for about summer camps!
This year we are camping at Chyverton, near Truro (look at their web site for pictures!)
We will sleep under canvas, but there are proper stables, loos and a well equipped kitchen. There is also a super sand school, lovely rides and a cross country course.
Seniors arrive Monday 16th August in the morning, and leave mid morning Wed 18th
Juniors arrive Wednesday morning and leave Friday mid morning.
You are welcome to bring your own tents but tents can be provided. You can bring your own horse, if it is suitable – but by arrangement with us.
We will provide delicious food, a fabulous horse, brilliant instruction, the cross country course, sand school, lots to do after riding and friendly cheerful staff – all for £165.
There will be a first aider on site at all times – and the staff are sympathetic and deal with pretty much any situation, they will even look after medicines if necessary. We can deal with home sickness and tired teenagers. Previous experience leads me to point out that the emphasis is very much on riding so campers need to be averagely fit (be able to walk up a hill!) and well (known medical conditions must be under control).
TOTS CAMP
Younger children are invited to come to camp at Penewin – on Thursday 26th August – come in the morning -allsorts of fun and games on horse back – leave on Friday late afternoon. Your own pony, lovely food, overnight stay etc £95
