SUMMER NEWSELTTER 2010

Nearly the end of term – so lots to think about for the summer holidays.

Here at Penewin Kaos – Bella’s foal -  is causing chaos, and Nicki is due to have her foal in a month.  Merlin and Jingo, the youngsters are learning something new every day, and soon there will be another young horse as well.

We have three weeks of school activities coming up now and then our summer activities.

We will have pony club days on most Thursdays – so July 29^th, August 5^th, 12^th and 26^th.  You get to ride twice, do some stable management, earn some badges and by the end of the summer holidays, do a pony club test according to your age and ability.(£35)

Tots are welcome to come on Thursdays from 2 till 4 and will ride for an hour as well as learning how to care for the ponies. (£20)

We will also run some competitions over the summer holidays, starting with :

A gymkhana on Friday August 6^th – open to all ages and abilities. Schedule to follow.

Fridays 13^th August – Express Eventing, also open to all ages and abilities.  A little bit of dressage – (to music?) – show jumping and a small cross country course.

August 15^th – 20^th – our summer camp at Chyverton.

Finally Friday September 3^rd – our End of Summer show and presentations – schedule to follow,
